2025 Kick-Off
Primetime 2025 Kick Off
January was flush with 2025 predictions in newsletters, LinkedIn feeds and the media. Most authors were bulls, and a rare few were bears. With a new administration in place, venture investors are warily hoping for less regulation, more tech-friendliness and finally, some liquidity. Against this backdrop, we have been asked frequently how regulatory change will impact company builders in our areas of investment: healthspan and wealthspan. The punchline is that we expect regulatory tailwinds in most areas we invest in. The likely regulatory and reimbursement environment informs many of our 2025 investment themes, such as prescription cost control, low cost diagnostics and biomarkers, healthcare enablement of senior housing, and AI-driven care workflows. Moreover, we have confidence and evidence in our own portfolio that entrepreneurs will nimbly adjust to any headwinds in their path.
So instead of predictions, we are kicking off 2025 with some inspiration.
Watch this short video to understand why the longevity economy matters and what exciting opportunities lie ahead.

2024 was a year of significant progress for our portfolio companies, most of which are only two to four years old. We thank our founders and teams for their innovative work that sets new standards in health and financial longevity — making critical resources more accessible to millions.

This week kicked off Lunar New Year celebrations. 2025 is the year of the Wood Snake. According to Chinese astrology, the Snake symbolizes intelligence, mystery, and renewal whereas the Wood element symbolizes growth, creativity and flexibility. The combination of the two aptly describes the core elements startups and the venture industry possess, signaling a promising year ahead. As proof, our portfolios already have significant launch plans secured for 2025. For example, Rosarium Health secured its first Managed Medicaid contract, with more to come this year. Guaranteed Health will launch in four new markets across two states, YES Hearing plans to open 25 locations, and Isaac Health will expand to all 50 states.
Predictions vary widely, but there is one perspective with consensus… that 2025 will be a year of change. And the longevity economy will be a beneficiary.
To Good Health,
Abby, Alan, James, Ray, and Zoe
